Fast forward 1 year. What would you like to see in the IPL ? I think the main interest is is how new players are going to be drafted in and how transfers are made. Any thoughts ? Other ideas you would like to see implemented ?

Are the eight teams that were the structure of the IPLT20 2008 season the same teams for 2009? Of course players come and go due to selection, injury, contract, etc. Will we still have the same eight clubs? Is there possibility of other clubs becoming listed in the IPLT20? One would imagine that places like Pune, Nagpur, Kochin might be able to build professional T20 clubs. Will there ever be a relegation process, paving way for other clubs, if more than eight competing teams is not possible? Professional sporting teams, like other businesses, get sold, change management, go broke. What happens to the league if a club financially folds? Not a nice thought, it can and does happen.
Players sign a contract you would think. Are contracts one season only? Salary limits are necessary to avoid inflated costs to clubs and a competing par throughout the league. People change, transfer teams for all kinds of reasons. Any of the IPLT20 teams are capable of winning against any team and taking the final. Keeping the management of the league much the way it is ensures another season of high quality, spectator supported, TV tuned, proffessionally paid cricket. Well done.
