Crucial Game For Chennai

Robin has already done the preview here. So all I shall say is this is a very crucial game simply because we are playing the team at the bottom of the table but by no means an easy team. Win here and it will be just "a win against the last placed side", lose and all hell might break lose.

The encouraging aspect is that the DC bowling is very weak. Dhoni can make mincemeat of such bowling. On the flip side if Gilchrist fires, then everything else including our strong batting and weak bowling may become irrelevant.

Weaknesses we can exploit
Bowling: Opposition bowling is their weak point. RP Singh can work up some pace but other than that (with Vaas unlikely to play), Styris Kalyanakrishna, Bangar and Ojha shouldn't be a problem at all. Keep a look out for Afridi.

I'm off to see the game !
